As of late, I've been on the long and painfully free months of holiday in between completing high school and beginning university. I haven't taken a single photo on my camera since pre-Christmas, and even then it was only a quick cute shot of my tree. Sometimes, when you're not in the most thriving slice of time, it's difficult to take photos. Nobody is around for portraits. Nothing exciting is happening. It's just you, at home, surrounded by the mundane, boring things. So I've set myself a new challenge. Every day I will go outside with my camera. I will find a mundane subject, and I will try to turn a plain image into art. The photograph

Starting a journal with a definition. How incredibly hipster. I'm just not creative enough to start it on my own. Every time I look at another artist's' work,  I feel like I'm not actually any good at art. At all. I feel like my style is garbage, and I'm faking it. And I get the feeling that that isn't just me.
